Discover Jaipur: The Ultimate 2 Days Sightseeing Itinerary

Welcome to Jaipur — a city where every corner tells a story, and every day feels like a celebration of colors, culture, and royal heritage. Over the next two days, I’ll be guiding you through the Pink City step by step, just the way I personally curate tours for my guests.

Let’s begin your beautiful journey!

Morning – Welcome to the Pink City

As you arrive in Jaipur, our team will greet you warmly at the airport/railway station or your hotel. After settling in and refreshing yourself, we’ll begin our day gently — no rush, no hurry, just the right pace to ease you into the charm of Rajasthan.

Hawa Mahal (Photo Stop)

We start with the iconic Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. Stand in front of this honey-combed façade bathed in morning sunlight — it’s one of those postcard-perfect Jaipur moments. I always tell my guests, “Don’t rush this one… take a moment, breathe it in.”

City Palace – The Living Palace of Jaipur

Next, we walk into the heart of Jaipur’s royal legacy — City Palace.
Inside, you’ll see beautiful courtyards, carved doorways, museums showcasing royal costumes, silver jars, the famous Peacock Gate, and much more. I’ll share stories of the Maharajas as you explore — it makes the experience truly come alive.

Jantar Mantar – The Astronomical Wonder

Just beside City Palace stands Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The huge stone instruments are not just impressive in size but also in their scientific accuracy. As I guide you through the observatory, you’ll see how, centuries ago, kings measured time and predicted eclipses using only shadows and sunlight.

Lunch Break

Around now, your appetite will surely start calling. Depending on your preference, We’ll recommend a wonderful local Rajasthani restaurant — whether it’s Dal-Baati-Churma, Laal Maas, or a simple Thali, Jaipur’s flavors never disappoint.

Birla Temple

Post-lunch, we visit the peaceful Birla Temple.
Its white marble architecture glows beautifully and offers a moment of calm amid the city’s vibrance. Many of my guests love this spot for its simplicity and serenity.

Albert Hall Museum (Photo Stop)

As we move toward the evening, we make a brief stop at Albert Hall Museum — Jaipur’s oldest museum and one of its most photogenic buildings. The pigeons, the architecture, the ambience… it all blends into a picture-perfect moment.

Evening Options (Choose as you like):

  • Local Jaipur Market Visit – Explore Jaipur Markets for jewelry, textiles & handicrafts

  • Chokhi Dhani Village Theme Dinner – Cultural performances, folk music, camel rides & traditional Rajasthani Thali

  • Light and Sound Show at Amber Fort (if available that day)

Return to hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 01 – Arrival in Jaipur + Heritage Jaipur City Tour

Day 02 – Forts, Views & Royal Grandeur

Panna Meena ka Kund

Just a few minutes away is Panna Meena Kund, Jaipur’s prettiest stepwell. The symmetrical staircases and peaceful surroundings make it a wonderful photography spot.

The Majestic Amer Fort

After breakfast, we drive toward the Aravalli hills to experience the crown jewel of Jaipur — Amer Fort.
Built by the Kachhwaha rulers, this fort is a masterpiece of Rajput architecture. As I walk you through Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, Ganesh Pol, and the sprawling courtyards, you’ll feel the stories of the royal era echo around you.

For those who enjoy views, the ramparts give beautiful panoramas of the Maota Lake and the surrounding hills.

Nahargarh Fort or Jaipur Wax Museum

Depending on your interest:

  • Nahargarh Fort offers the best hilltop views of Jaipur.

  • OR Jaipur Wax Museum & Sheesh Mahal Replica inside Nahargarh fort premises offers a fun and artistic experience.

Lunch Break

We’ll stop for lunch at a carefully chosen rooftop restaurant or a heritage-style venue where you can enjoy both great food and great views of the city.

Jal Mahal (Photo Stop)

On our way back, we enjoy a calm photo stop at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace floating on Man Sagar Lake. In the afternoon light, it looks truly magical — I always let guests linger here for a few extra minutes.
